Make
Internet Search Engines your brower's start page
For those who use Internet Explorer
4.0+
1) Go offline.
2) At the
top of your browser, click "View".
3) Move your
cursor-arrow to the bottom of the drop down box, and click "Options".
4) From the
six tabs at the top of the Options page, click "Navigation".
5) In the
Customize section, ensure that beside "Page", it says
"Start Page" in the box. Beside "Name", leave
that box alone. Beside "Address" is the box where you
are going to do some editing. Clicking the left button on your
mouse and holding it down, move the cursor across the web address
in the box until it is highlighted with a blue colour.
6) Click the
"Delete" button on your keyboard. The cursor should
now be blinking on the left hand side of the box.
7) Now, type in: http://www.WebsiteKeywordSubmission.com/internet-search-engine/index.html
8) At the
bottom of the Options page, click the "OK" button.
If you can't get at the "OK" button at the bottom,
click the "Enter" button on your keyboard instead.
9) Congradulations, you
have been successful in making Internet Search Engines your homepage!
For those who use Netscape Navigator 2.0+
1) Go offline.
2) At the
top of your browser, click "Edit".
3) Move your
cursor-arrow to the bottom of the drop down box, and click "Preferences".
4) On the
Preferences page, direct your attention the "Navigator starts
with....." section the right of the page. Make sure "Homepage"
is selected.
5) Below is
the "Homepage" section. Within it is the word "Location"
and to the right of that a box with a web address in it. It is
in this box where you are going to do some editing. Clicking
the left button on your mouse and holding it down, move the cursor
across the web address in the box until it is highlighted with
a blue colour.
6) Click the
"Delete" button on your keyboard. The cursor should
now be blinking on the left hand side of the box.
7) Now, type in: http://www.WebsiteKeywordSubmission.com/internet-search-engine/index.html
8) At the
bottom of the Preferences page, click the "OK" button.
If you can't get at the "OK" button at the bottom,
click the "Enter" button on your keyboard instead.
9) Congradulations, you
have been successful in making Internet Search Engines your homepage!
